TMC Hospice serves the Tucson, Green Valley and Benson communities as their is a local, non-profit hospice offering compassionate hospice care and support since 1991. We offer personalized in-home care for our patients and families alongside our dedicated hospice services at Peppi's House.
Is it time for hospice?
Deciding when to ask about hospice is a personal decision. Once treatment options are no longer effective, patients and their families should consult with their physician for guidance.
While you should take into account your personal situation and values, it may be time to consider hospice if:
- You have made multiple trips to the ER
- Your illness is progressing & impacting your quality of life
- You've been hospitalized several times within the last year with the same or worsening symptoms
- You prefer to remain at home rather than in the hospital
- Your physician has informed you that there are no more treatment options
